Dr. Darling graduated dental school from Boston University. She completed a one year General Practice Residency at Rhode Island Hospital, where she received additional training in oral surgery, pediatrics, and special care dentistry. She is an active member of the Missouri Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. Although she loves fighting cavities indoors, Dr. Darling also enjoys being outdoors whether hiking, skiing, or running.
Dr. Claire Williams received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri. She continued her education at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Williams continues her dental education by taking courses every year on a variety of topics. Dr. Claire Williams is a member of the American Dental Society, Missouri State Dental Society, Greater St. Louis Dental Society and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Williams is very passionate about dentistry and enjoys volunteering both locally and abroad. She volunteers as a restorative dentist at Missouri Mission of Mercy every year. She has also enjoyed trips to Jamaica and Nepal. Dr. Williams is looking forward to exploring other parts of the globe while giving back to the local communities.
Originally from a small town in central Illinois, Dr. Williams has enjoyed settling into life in Saint Louis! In her free time she enjoys playing soccer, traveling, reading and spending time at home with her two rescue dogs, JD and Jake. She also enjoys season tickets to The Fabulous Fox Theatre!
As an advocate for expanding access to healthcare in our country, Dr. Adler has committed to practicing dentistry in underserved communities. In 2014, he transitioned from private practice into mobile healthcare, where he specializes in treatment of geriatric patients in need. He earned his DDS at the University of Washington, where he remains a loyal football fan. Dr. Adler enjoys cooking, hiking, hot sauce, and any outdoor adventure with his mixed lab/cattle dog.
Joyce graduated with a Bachelor’s in English from Texas A&M University, received her Master’s in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, and is currently working on her MBA. Joyce is an operator in the portable dental space. She started her career as a dental assistant and dental manager and has progressed to developing large-scale portable projects serving 1000’s of patients. Currently, she oversees new market strategy and nationwide business development expansion for Enable Dental. She drives major partner initiatives and helps create custom partnership agreements and repeatable templates to scale to a broader ecosystem. Joyce is passionate about dental public health and providing access to dentistry for those not well served by traditional offices, and leads dental outreach projects in developing countries in her spare time.
Raised in Calgary, Alberta went to dental school in Loma Linda, CA. Lived in eastern and central Washington state after dental then moved my down to Austin (Cedar Park) TX in 2013. Loves all of types of movies, tv shows, eating, swimming, playing volleyball. Trying to get into hiking and outdoor activities but dislikes summer heat. Looks forward to career of helping those in need and pain.
Dr. Alicia Galvan is a proud native of San Antonio, Texas She completed her dental degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center @ San Antonio ( UTHSCSA Dental ) in 2002. She also completed her hospital dentistry residency at the same institution in conjunction with University Hospital and the Audie Murphy VA Hospital. Dr. Galvan became a postdoctoral residency program director for 2 residency programs at UTHSCSA Dental shortly after graduating from her residency while publishing in several respected dental publications. Dr. Galvan’s professional interests have always been focused on medically compromised dental patients. She has made this her life’s work and will continue down this path.
Dr. Stern is from Topeka, Kansas but came to Colorado in 2009 for college (University of Denver) and dental school (University of Colorado Anschutz). She has a commitment to continued learning as she is an active study club member of Spear, takes weekly Invisalign Pro mentoring classes, and is working towards a Fellowship through the Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Stern likes to volunteer her services as a dental provider or serve meals at the Denver Rescue Mission, as well as travel around the world.
What Dr. Samin Huque enjoys most about dentistry is the ability to alleviate the distress of someone with his own hands. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from Pearland High School. He fell in love with Austin while attending the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating with a BBA in Management Information Systems, Dr. Huque moved back to Houston to attend the University of Texas School of Dentistry. He then moved to Waimanalo, Hawaii for a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program.
Dr. Huque’s dream is to help eradicate the massive food waste problem and get nutritious food to families in need. When he’s not working, Dr. Huque enjoys playing tennis, calisthenics, and learning languages. He has a passion for connecting with diverse people from all walks of life and has lived in Hong Kong and Vietnam.
Dr. Kordab attended the University of Tennessee – College of Dentistry in Memphis and earned her DDS in 2006. She then received her Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2010, and Masters in Public Health with concentration in Epidemiology from the University of Memphis in 2015. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Capital Area Dental Society.
Dr. Kordab served as an adjunct faculty with the University of Tennessee – College of Dentistry and was the clinic dental director at the Tennessee Department of Health in Jackson, TN, where she served the community in the West TN region by providing and supervising dental students in delivering dental services. She moved with her family to San Antonio, Texas in 2014.
Following her belief in giving back to the community, Dr. Kordab has volunteered and provided dental services in numerous dental events, including Give Kids a Smile and Special Olympics participants. She also participated in outreach programs serving Head Start children and school children in the Bolivar and West Tennessee area.
Dr. Kordab loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter. Her hobbies are outdoors, biking and reading.
Dr. Milena Brezo studied dentistry at the University in Belgrade, UCLA, and, most recently, at the University of Colorado, Denver.
Dr. Brezo practiced general and emergency dentistry since 2008 in Eastern Europe, Asia, and the United States. In addition to providing compassionate and evidence-based dentistry in private practices, Dr. Brezo’s biggest passion is serving the dental needs of the underprivileged communities worldwide. She has been doing this as dentist for the UN mission in Timor Leste in 2015 and over the course of half a dozen humanitarian dental trips in the Caribbean.
Dr. Brezo is returning to Denver from Michigan to be closer to family and colleagues from the University of Colorado, where she continues her education in Implantology which began with a surgical implant dentistry preceptorship at UCLA.
She holds dental license in the states of Michigan and Colorado. Dr. Brezo is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado and Metro Denver Dental Associations .
Dr. Brezo enjoys spending time with her nephews, good food, traveling, drawing, and photography. She is looking forward to returning to Colorado’s spectacular skiing and hiking trails.
Dr. Lissa Alconcel provides patients with comprehensive care for optimum dental well-being. As a former dental patient coordinator, Dr. Alconcel understands the importance of building trusting and long-lasting relationships with patients. Through personalized care, we can assure the most comfortable and individualized treatment possible. As an active member of multiple study organizations, Dr. Alconcel is committed to continuing her education and staying up to date on the most recent advances in the dental field.
Dr. Alconcel is a Colorado native and attended Colorado State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in finance and her master’s degree in toxicology. As an undergraduate at Colorado State University, Dr. Alconcel competed as an NCAA Division I swimmer for the CSU Rams. Upon graduation, she continued to train as a triathlete and went on to compete in three Ironman Triathlons. Dr. Alconcel graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, during which time she was president of the American Association of Women Dentists and the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine’s national representative to the Christian Medical and Dental Association®. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Alconcel is also certified as an emergency medical technician (EMT).
Dr. Alconcel and her husband, Brandon, have three children, Owen, Brooke and Ryan, as well as two dogs, a boxer and lab mix named Izzy and a Boston terrier named Kali. Together, they all enjoy the Colorado outdoors, attending CSU football games, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Ajaja happened upon dentistry by following a lifelong fascination with how things work. First, it motivated her to dual major in Computer and Electrical Engineering at Purdue University in Indiana. Then, when she realized she was more fascinated with the well-being of humans than machines, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M University | Baylor College of Dentistry.
Dr. Ajaja has particular interest in the care of medically complex adults, non-opioid dental pain management, and treatment of highly anxious patients. She maintains her own well-being by spending time with her family, dog, and in nature with the company of dear friends.
Dr. Barr is a Colorado native, born and raised in Loveland, CO. He earned his BS in biochemistry from UNC in Greeley before attending school at Mines in Golden, CO. He then earned His engineering license before going to dental school at CU in Aurora, CO. Now he is a dentist and loves it!
“I was lucky to find the love of my life at UNC and I tricked her into marrying me. We have two boys and a girl that keep us very busy. I enjoy doing projects around the house and being outside doing all of the typical Colorado things. The most important thing to me is my family and I love spending time with them. You will often find us exploring Colorado, and someday I want to tackle all 53 of the Colorado 14ers.”
Dr. Sky Kurlbaum grew up in Kansas City, KS, graduating from Shawnee Mission East High School before attending the University of Kansas. Dr. Kurlbaum attended UMKC School of Dentistry. In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Kurlbaum has also given back to the community by serving children from low-income families at a wonderful non-profit clinic in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Dr. Kurlbaum works hard to ensure he can provide for all the needs of his patients. Dr. Kurlbaum completed a Fellowship with the International Dental Implant Association and is dedicated to helping patients restore lost teeth with implants. Dr. Kurlbaum himself lost a front tooth playing basketball and has had an implant placed to replace that tooth, so helping patients receive comfortable, easy and pain-free implant treatment is a major focus. He was also a member of the Prosthetic Honors program in dental school which helped him complete double the required training for dentures and do many advanced cosmetic dentistry cases.
Dr. Kurlbaum married his best friend, Nicole, and they live in Brookside, Missouri, with their two dachshunds, Pepper and Bandit. Sky is an Eagle Scout and loves being outdoors. His family has a 3,000-plant tomato farm in KCK that delivers tomatoes to restaurants around Kansas City, including Jack Stacks, Michael Smith’s, Bristol, Jasper’s and more. On the weekends, Dr. Kurlbaum enjoys traveling, playing sports, boating at Table Rock Lake, tailgating at sporting events and spending time on his family farm.
Dr. Yara Abdulla is an experienced, compassionate general dentist practicing in the Greater Houston area. She provides comprehensive, quality dental care to patients of all ages. She focuses on improving patients’ oral health, function, and aesthetics.
She has obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Cairo, Egypt where she graduated with honor. She then moved to the U.S. and pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University in California, after which Dr. Abdulla and her family moved to Houston where she has been practicing for the past 8 years.
Dr. Abdulla stays up to date with the current advances in the field through continuous education courses. In addition, she is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society, where she has been serving as a member of the Diversity Committee and an elected member of the Peer Review Committee. She is also a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry.
Apart from dentistry Dr. Abdulla enjoys spending time with her family, baking, cheering for her daughters on the tennis court, or taking cross country road trips and exploring new places.
An advocate for the most dentally underserved, Dr. Trisha Vo has spent her dental education and career dedicated to increasing access to care for special needs and geriatric patient populations. Dr. Vo believes in providing high quality care that is specialized for each individual patient.
Born and raised in Orange County, Dr. Vo earned her B.S. and D.D.S degrees from the University of the Pacific. While in dental school, her passion for special care dentistry and dental oncology led her to train with the Stanford Department of Dentistry. Afterwards, Dr. Vo returned to Southern California to complete a General Residency Program at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, where she treated patients exclusively with physical, intellectual, and complex medical disorders and disabilities.
Dr. Vo is committed to honing her skills to better serve her patients and continues to learn by being an active member in both the Special Care Dentistry Association and the American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Vo enjoys playing board games with family and friends, trying new recipes in the kitchen, traveling, and photography.
Dr. Brandon Pester earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Texas A&M University at College Station and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. He believes in providing personable dental care to patients. He is dedicated to leading his dental team by encouraging and inspiring them to work together to provide patients with a great experience.
Outside of work, he enjoys biking, hiking, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Alice Liu is an experienced preventative-focused dentist with an emphasis on patient education. Dr. Liu received a Bachelor of Science at UC Davis. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the Arizona School of Dentistry with a certificate in Public Health. Dr. Liu is passionate about serving those who lack access to traditionally delivered dental care. She is committed to staying up to date with current evidence-based dentistry to further develop and expand her clinical skills. Dr. Liu enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, snowboarding and scuba diving. She travels every chance she gets and loves to explore different cultures and cuisines. In her spare time, you can catch her binging on TV documentaries.
Dr. Kolathu has lived in the Austin area since 2012. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Christian Medical College India in Dental Surgery. From there she attended the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio, earning her DDS with teaching honors in 2017. Dr. Kolathu has been practicing General/Family/Geriatric dentistry including restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Capital Area Dental Society. Following her belief in giving back to the community, Dr. Kolathu. has participated in Texas Mission of Mercy Camps in TX and has participated in several dental mission trips to serve those in need. She loves spending time with her husband and kids. Her hobbies include being outdoors, running, traveling and trying different cuisines.
Born and raised in New Mexico, attended University of New Mexico and Creighton University Dental School, happily married, four kids, love tacos, getting a Masters Degree in Theology to pursue Chaplaincy after dentistry. Always had a soft spot for the elderly and I love being able to work with them in the comfort of their own homes.
Dr. Wah-Yung Tsang is the owner and Chief Dental Officer of Caring Mobile Dental (Tsang Mobile Dental, PLLC). She was born and spent her early years in Hong Kong. At age 11 her family and she moved to Southern California where she completed her undergraduate studies at University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) with a major in Psychobiology and a minor in Developmental Psychology. After college, Dr. Tsang earned her DDS at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California. Upon graduation, she commissioned as Captain/Dentist in United States Air Force, delivering patient-focused dental care annually to over 20K military members and their families in different parts of the world including Texas, South Korea, Japan, and Germany between 2009-2014. Since 2014, she has provided care for individuals outside of the traditional dental office setting including assisted living communities and nursing homes.
Having lived in different parts of the world and traveled to over 75 countries, Dr. Tsang loves exploring this fascinating world in her spare time, whether it be solo or accompanied. She enjoys immersing herself in different cultures and new experiences, as well as capturing the moment through photography.
Dr. Solomon received his D.D.S. degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He brings passion, education and the desire to positively impact people’s lives to his practice. His dedication began early as a Dean’s Honor List undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin and Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Dr. Solomon’s dedication to his patients and his field prompted him to pursue advanced continuing education including graduating from the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute, the world renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry, The Texas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and The Jameson Leadership Forum.
Dr. Solomon feels it is important to give back to the community; he coordinates a panel of dentists that provides dentistry to the less fortunate and for victims of abuse and domestic violence for over 20 years.

Dr. Solomon was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and married his high school sweetheart, Rossi. They have two daughters, Jennifer and Julie.
Dr. Daniel Gilstrap was born and raised in the Kansas City area. The oldest of four, he grew up immersed in sports teams and his church community. Dr. Gilstrap completed his undergraduate studies at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri where he graduated with highest honors. He then earned his DDS at the UMKC School Of Dentistry, also graduating Summa Cum Laude. In addition to his service with KC Mobile, Dr Gilstrap has maintained a private practice in Overland Park KS since 2012. He lives in Prairie Village with his wife and three sons where he enjoys cooking, watching sports, reading, playing the guitar and spending time with family.
Dr. Stephen Hayes earned a Bachelors in Biology from Southern University and a Masters in Biochemistry from Texas Southern University. He obtained his Dental education from Howard University in Washington D.C. in 2014. Then he further trained at University of Texas Health Science Center Houston branch completing a General Practice Residency. Post graduate residency allowed him to focus on hospital based dentistry as well as medically compromised patients. While practicing dentistry, Dr. Hayes completed a Masters in Business Administration from E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University.
He enjoys traveling the world and has visited 15 different countries. Every year he partners with International Esperanza Project to travel to Guatemala providing dental care, building schools, stoves and water filtration systems for the locals. He believes in treating people well not only their teeth.
Dr. Stein completed both her undergraduate Masters degrees at Texas A&M, and her doctorate at Baylor College of Dentistry/Texas A&M College of Dentistry – in fact, she’s a first-generation college student! During dental school, she took as many courses as possible to expand her clinical knowledge, studying iTero, Invisalign, athletic mouthguards, interdisciplinary treatment planning, and much more. To this day, she attends advanced trainings in pharmacology and endodontic treatment to further build on her expertise. She is also certified in Invisalign and nitrous oxide.
What she enjoys most about her work is being able to have such a positive impact on people’s lives while also helping them feel much more confident about their smiles.
Dr. Andrew Nguyen is a native of Orange County. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA with a dual major in biology and psychology. After college, Dr. Nguyen moved up the coast to earn his DDS at the University of California – San Francisco (UCSF). Afterward, he made his way to Texas where he completed one year of advanced general dental residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio School of Dentistry where he received further training in dental surgeries, implants, and IV sedation.
Dr. Nguyen is a member of the SCDA (Special Care Dentistry Association) where he focuses on both teaching others and learning new techniques in treating individuals with unique physical and behavioral challenges. In addition to his work with California Mobile Dental, Dr. Nguyen maintains a private practice in San Clemente.
Growing up in Southern California really developed Dr. Nguyen’s love for the outdoors. He is often found outside on a trail, camera in hand to capture all of nature’s beauty. When he’s out of the office, he is a dog-dad to a rescued shelter mutt, and enjoys his time with family and friends.
Dr. Vincent Ho received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was inducted into the Honors society Omicron Kappa Upsilon and received scholarships for Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Dr. Ho received his Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Ho has volunteered his time and travelled the world providing much needed dental care. He has worked in Barrow, Alaska with the Indian Health Services and served on the USNS Mercy, a Naval hospital ship, and volunteered with Thousand Smiles in Mexico with orphan and cleft lip children. He loves to spend time with his wife and his two year old son. They are expecting a daughter as well.
Dr. John Schmid received his Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University in 1989. Remaining in the Lone Star State, Dr. Schmidcontinued his education, receiving his Doctorate in Dental Science (DDS) from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. From there, he went on to study Advanced Anterior Aesthetics, Comprehensive Aesthetic Reconstruction, Neuromuscular Occlusion, Full Mouth Reconstruction, and Neuromuscular Coronoplasty at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. In 2012 Dr. Schmid was awarded the distinction of Fellow by the institute. The Fellow distinction is only awarded to dentists who have successfully completed a comprehensive exam covering all of the skills and techniques taught in the LVI Core Series (Core I – Core VII), which includes a minimum of 278 continuing education hours of training in advanced dental aesthetics and neuromuscular science. Dr. Schmid has lived in Austin for over 20 years and is proud to be raising his children Molly, Lola, and Joaquin in our lovely city.
Dr. Schmid strongly believes in community involvement and, in the spirit of Austin, has volunteered at the Manos de Cristo Dental Clinic, a full-service dental clinic that serves the needs of the underprivileged members of our city. Along with maintaining a private cosmetic practice for the last 20 years, Dr. Schmid has also focused on Geriatric and memory care dentistry in the Austin area. Dr. Schmid has 10 years of Geriatric and memory care dental experience. Keeping these patients comfortable and functioning by delivering care in a conscientious, compassionate way is his primary goal.
Dr. Allison Kumata earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Biological Sciences from Wellesley College and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Kumata went on to complete an additional residency in advanced general dentistry at Bellevue Hospital and Coler-Goldwater Specialty Hospital in New York. While in residency, she received extensive training in the management of medically compromised patients, implant placement and restoration, and esthetic dentistry. After graduating, she practiced in San Francisco and Palo Alto before making Austin her home. She has always had a passion for continuing education and brings knowledge of the latest studies and treatments to her practice. Her goal is to create a lasting connection with her patients and to offer an experience that is customized and exceeds their expectations.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kumata is actively involved in the local community and loves volunteering, cooking, trying new restaurants, running, and rooting for the Longhorns.
